In 2024, ES Goodman identified a 2.5-acre site in Groton, CT for its next housing development project. The plan includes developing the property in two phases, with Phase 1 consisting of 29 studio, 1-, and 2-bedroom apartments plus garage parking, and Phase 2 consisting of an additional 25 apartments and parking. Construction on Phase 1 is set to begin in early 2025 with completion slated for mid-2026.

The Helm has been thoughtfully designed to address the need for essential market-rate housing in the Groton community, home to prominent and expanding employers such as Pfizer, Electric Boat, and the U.S. Naval Submarine Base.
